The Monstera deliciosa or the Swiss Cheese Plant as its more commonly known due to vast amount of small holes that occur in its heart-shaped leaf. The holes in the leaves occur naurally and they allow sunlight to shine through to lower leaves.
This retro looking plant, a huge hit in the 50's is a climber which will flourish with little care will easily take over a vacant corner in your home!

Temperatures between 18-27ºC are ideal.
A fairly bright room or bright with plenty of shade is best. Direct sunlight will damage the leaves and not enough light can slow growth down.
Between watering times allow the soil to become dry to the touch within the top couple of inches or so of soil.
